Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (CCP & PEP)

KYCC’s Community Collaborative Program (CCP) and Prevention Education Program (PEP) contracts are funded by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC).

The Community Collaborative Program (CCP) strives to create systematic change by working at an environmental level to address substance use availability and accessibility. Through policy advocacy and partnering with local politicians, community groups, and law enforcement agencies.

The Prevention Education Program (PEP) works alongside CCP to educate the community on the effects of various substances and mobilizes community members to advocate for healthier communities.
