Since its inception in 2012, the Korean Integrated Service Management (ISM) model program has strived to assist Korean individuals–particularly those who are uninsured–in the Los Angeles area achieve wellness and recovery through the integration of mental health, physical health, and substance abuse treatment services.

The primary areas of focus are: to explore how to best reach the un-served and underserved Korean population and reduce stigma for individuals seeking help; to implement culturally and linguistically appropriate services; and to examine the successes and challenges of complex systems integration.
