In preparation for the 2020 Annual Holiday Carnival, KYCC staff and volunteers have been hard at work packing toys, PPE, and COVID-19 resources for more than 400 of KYCC’s clients and families across the greater Koreatown area. This year, due to the rapid rise of COVID-19 across Los Angeles County, the Holiday Carnival has been adapted to take place with safe, socially distanced deliveries of gifts.

Thanks to a generous donation from CBB Bank, each family’s package will include a box of 50 disposable masks. CBB Bank has been a longtime partner and supporter of KYCC, and this year since they could not volunteer at the event, they decided to wrap and donate 650 boxes of disposable masks for KYCC clients.

“These days, with the COVID-19 numbers surging, we really appreciated CBB Bank thinking of KYCC and our families by generously donating so many masks,” said KYCC Development Coordinator, Ernie Yoshikawa. “Not only that, their staff took the time and energy to nicely wrap 650 boxes to add a little holiday cheer to the donation. We’re thankful to have their ongoing partnership and support!”

KYCC extends their sincere gratitude to CBB Bank for the thoughtful donation and their help to keep our community safe and healthy this holiday season!
