On April 18, KYCC hosted its 17th Annual FORE Children and Families Golf Classic at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine, CA. Our Annual FORE Children and Families Golf Classic benefits KYCC’s programs and services including early childhood education, mental health, affordable housing, after-school and youth development programs, environmental services, and financial education.

All players competed in 37 teams of four in a fun, exciting, 18-hole golf tournament that took place throughout the day. Upon their arrival at Strawberry Farms, players were greeted by KYCC staff and given goodie bags filled with gifts from Lotte, LMNT, Fair & Square, Medisorb, and more.

Before teeing off, players also had the opportunity to eat delicious boxed lunches from WaBa Grill and purchase raffle tickets for many exciting prizes.

After an afternoon of golf, staff and tournament guests returned to Strawberry Farms’ Big Red Barn for a delicious dinner, tournament prizes, raffle and auction.

“We are so grateful we had many returning and new supporters join us for our golf tournament this year. We definitely felt the support we received from sponsors and donors,” says Carolyn Kwak, KYCC Development Associate. “It’s great to have everyone come together in support of the Koreatown community that KYCC strives to serve.”

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors who made this year’s tournament a great success!
