On April 13, KYCC joined Radio Korea and the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles in launching the “Save the Heroes” campaign to support the dedicated healthcare workers in our community.

“Save the Heroes” collected personal protective equipment (PPE) from the community to donate them to local hospitals. In the first week alone, over 7,000 face masks and over $8,000 were collected.

On April 23, this community coalition campaign was able to deliver 5,000 masks to the PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital.
