On April 20, KYCC hosted its 16th Annual FORE Children and Families Golf Classic at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine, CA. Proceeds from the FORE Children and Families Golf Classic are used to support KYCC’s services including mental health services, affordable housing, early childhood education, after-school programs, youth development, environmental services, and financial education.

All players competed in 37 teams of four in a fun, exciting, 18-hole golf tournament that took place all through the day. Upon their arrival at Strawberry Farms, players were greeted by KYCC staff and given gift bags, boxed lunches from Mom’s Touch, and had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for many exciting prizes.

After an afternoon of golf, staff and tournament guests returned for a delicious dinner, tournament prizes, and raffle at Strawberry Farms’ Big Red Barn.

Each year our Golf Tournament coincides with April’s Child Abuse Prevention Month, through which KYCC brings awareness to ways in which we can all work together to strengthen children and families, the importance of the Protective Factors, and how KYCC’s Clinical Services, Recovery Services, Youth Services, and Prevention Education programs all work to ensure that our families can thrive.
