KYCC hosted Korean Heritage Day for the 5th year with the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles. The 2:30 p.m. game against the Brooklyn Nets team celebrated the Los Angeles Korean American community by honoring Korean culture and celebrating KYCC as the Nonprofit of the Game!

Throughout the day, students from KYCC’s Youth Services Program had the opportunity to stand on court alongside players such as Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, as they sang the national anthem.

Other students also got to exchange high-fives with the athletes at the fan tunnel, along with KYCC supporters who were honored on the big screen during halftime.

KYCC staff were also present representing Korean culture by wearing hanboks, a traditional Korean dress.

We celebrated Korean Heritage Day with a Clippers victory, and we are thrilled for the opportunity to share an exciting game and a Clippers win with our KYCC community!

Thank you to the Los Angeles Clippers for inviting KYCC to celebrate this special evening!
