On Thursday, November 18, 2021, KYCC presented its 20th Annual Benefit Concert, KOREATOWN STANDS Volume II: COVID-19 Recovery and Stop Asian Hate. The concert was held virtually and streamed live on KYCC’s Youtube channel.

The 2021 virtual concert was hosted by PK, comedian and founder of Kollaboration and LiNK. Featured artists included Shawn Stockman, Insooni, Chuthis, Tres Souls, and Kim Tae Woo, with special guests Ki Hong Lee, Terrence Howard, Asian Boss Girl, Kang Dong Won, LA County Supervisor Holly Mitchell, and CA State Assemblymember Miguel Santiago.

The event was not only a fundraiser for KYCC, but it was also an opportunity to celebrate the 46 years of amazing work and dedicated service that KYCC provides to the Koreatown community. The virtual concert highlighted the works of KYCC’s Environmental Services, Youth Services, and Clinical Services.

The services and resources that KYCC provides to the community have been extremely important during these COVID-19 recovery times. More than ever community members have been turning to KYCC for support. Throughout the pandemic, KYCC has remained dedicated to providing resources and services to the Koreatown community. KYCC and its members have worked diligently to adapt their ways of operating their programs in order to continue providing support during these times.
