A Seat at the Table: The Impact of the 1992 Uprising Then & Now

A whole generation has grown up in the wake of the 1992 Uprising. From South Los Angeles to Koreatown, we’re bringing together residents who experienced ‘92 and the next generation of youth leaders to learn from one another’s experiences, share visions for our communities, and build multiracial solidarity across generations.
On Wednesday, October 28, KSP and KYCC are honored to facilitate intergenerational conversations at the Second District Racial Justice Learning Exchange (RJLE), an initiative of Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell’s office that brings district residents, County, civic, and community leaders together to confront biases and inspire meaningful steps to eliminate structural racism.
This conversation grows out of KSP’s year-long work, Embodied Memory: Oral History and Intergenerational Repair in Koreatown After 1992. Please register at the QR code!
