On Saturday, July 30, 2022, KYCC’s Smoke Free Multi-Unit Housing team collaborated with Metro LA & LA Care Health Plan Community Resource Center to provide the community with bilingual resources and support around secondhand smoke in multi-unit housing.

In addition, the team also gave families school supplies donated to KYCC by 13 branches of Bank of America. The Smoke Free Multi-Unit Housing Initiative focuses on educating and empowering local Angelenos who have been affected by secondhand smoke in their homes.

The goal of the Angelenos for Clean Air coalition is to provide educational presentations, workshops, and provide resources at community events to bring awareness to our communities on the benefits of smoke free housing.
