Major League Baseball outfielder Shin-Soo Choo paid the KYCC Children’s Center a surprise visit on Nov. 22. Choo delighted the children and their families, dishing out turkey and stuffing at our Thanksgiving Family Potluck event. After the holiday feast, Choo signed dozens of baseballs for the kids, teachers and KYCC staff, and toured our preschool.

Choo was selected as the Most Valuable Player and Best Pitcher of the 2000 World Junior Baseball Championship. Most recently, it was reported that he signed a seven-year, $130 million contract with the Texas Rangers.
