On October 3, 2018, California’s first ever Clean Air Day, Assemblymember Sydney Kamlager-Dove, of the CA State Assembly 54th District, presented KYCC with a Certificate of Appreciation for our agency’s efforts in improving air quality through our tree-planting initiative.

On California’s Clean Air Day, individuals and communities across the state are asked to take the Clean Air Pledge and help improve air quality in our state. Individuals, schools, cities and businesses across the state are committing to do their part to protect public health, improve air quality and prevent climate change.

“Clean air is such an important issue for our communities. We are proud to be a part of this effort and look forward to engaging our stakeholders around things they can do to clear the air on October 3rd,” says Joseph K. Lyou, President and CEO, Coalition for Clean Air.

KYCC is proud to be recognized for our efforts and to be a part of this statewide initiative to better our environment.
