On March 24, KYCC’s Clinical Services provided a seminar for Korean parents at John Burroughs Middle School. The seminar was part two of the three-part seminar series, “Becoming a Happy Parent, Happy Child”– a parenting education curriculum from the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) rooted in the mission of positive, confident parenting.

KYCC’s Outreach Worker, Sarah Ko, led this most recent seminar titled “Raising Confident, Competent Children.” The seminar taught parents the importance of setting rules for children and how to better help children resolve conflicts and challenges.

KYCC’s Clinical Services has been providing seminars for Korean parents at John Burroughs Middle School throughout the school year. The third and final seminar of this parenting series is scheduled for April 21, 2017.
