On October 22, Anderson Munger Family YMCA and KYCC Clinical Services and Prevention Education partnered together for the Y’s second annual Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event. This is the second year that the Anderson Munger Family YMCA produced their Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event, serving over 700 individuals in the community of all ages and ethnicities.

The Anderson Munger Family YMCA produced a great second annual event by bringing all the fun and free local activities to our folks in the community! The day was filled with carnival games run by our Youth & Government kids, a live DJ to dance music to, a costume contest, trunk contests, pumpkin carving, and much more.

The Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event serves adults, teens, and families with children residing in Koreatown who annually go to the Hancock Park neighborhood to trick-or-treat every Halloween. In Koreatown housing is primarily gated while very little activity goes on during the holiday. Hence, many folks head to Hancock Park for that reason.

The purpose of the event is to bring new experiences for folks in the community to utilize the space at the YMCA while also inviting local organizations to participate in the Trunk-or-Treat event. KYCC was one of fifteen organizations who participated in the event.
