Hyphen Magazine, an Asian American news and culture news magazine and media outlet, covered KYCC’s hot meal and grocery delivery program in an April 30 article “In L.A.’s Koreatown, The Community Provides for Their Elderly Residents During COVID-19 Crisis.”

“In Los Angeles’ Koreatown,” the article states, “the COVID-19 pandemic has swung the attention back on the early immigrants who had built a bustling, walkable neighborhood to recreate something familiar. Now in their later years, homebound seniors face the challenges of being restricted in movement and cut off from their accessible restaurants and grocery stores. Now Koreatown’s newer generations are on a mission to reinvigorate the vital ethnic enclave.
