On October 15, KYCC partnered with City Insurance to host a clean up and graffiti removal event. City Insurance is a long standing partner and community collaborator with KYCC. As an active member in the community, City insurance wanted to beautify Koreatown through cleanup and graffiti removal. 

KYCC fosters and sustains its community partner relationships through participation, education and organized beatification events that highlight the community needs. 17 volunteers were able to remove 18 bags of trash from the community. 

Tristan Kim, KYCC’s Koreatown Engagement Officer, stated “The most grateful thing was that I felt the caring of Hub international LA (Koreatown) employees who tried to make a better Korean community. Koreatown is still very messy and needs the attention and participation of community residents. With the event with Hub International LA, I hope that many residents and companies will be interested in the beautification of Koreatown.”
