The Dunn-Edwards Corporation headquartered in Los Angeles generously donated a 12-month supply of graffiti cover-up paint and upgraded color tinting equipment for KYCC’s Graffiti Removal Program. The 1,500 gallons will cover over half a million square feet of property that has been defaced by gang-related graffiti, ensuring that the neighborhood is safer for our residents.

Dunn-Edwards will be the sole paint provider to KYCC, and they will also provide their custom paint match expertise to our Graffiti Removal program. This is the second collaboration between Dunn-Edwards and KYCC; last October, the paint company completely refreshed the exterior of our Wilton Center location.

Our Graffiti Removal program is part of our Environmental Services. We remove graffiti seven days a week throughout Koreatown and surrounding neighborhoods. Each month, KYCC responds to over 1,000 graffiti removal requests and removes over 300,000 sq. ft. of graffiti.  KYCC upholds “zero tolerance” standards for graffiti.

In 2014, KYCC removed 4,000,000 square feet of graffiti from Los Angeles streets and property.
