We had the help of over 300 volunteers (including staff) for #KYCCWonderland, our 25th Annual Holiday Carnival on Dec. 8, 2018 at Wilton Elementary School. Last year, over 2,400 people attended Koreatown Youth and Community Center’s Holiday Carnival to enjoy games, performances, activities and a special chance to meet Santa Claus. This year we had over 1,217 carnival participants and we hand-wrapped over 1,500 toys generously donated to us by sponsors and friends of KYCC.

Our continuing success is the result of a joint effort by KYCC, volunteers, toys sponsors, booth partners and donors who help create a safe, family-friendly festival for all residents of Koreatown and it’s neighboring areas. We are very grateful for the over 450 volunteers who either participated in the Holiday Carnival or volunteered to wrap gifts the weeks leading up to the Holiday Carnival. We had gift-wrapping volunteers from Bank of America, Bank of Hope, BRIDGE And YDAPP.

We hope to continue the Holiday Carnival tradition next year and promote compassion and community during the holiday season.
