KYCC hosted its 50th Anniversary Benefit Concert at The Music Center\u2019s Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, August 21, 2025, gathering over 1,800 community members, funders, partners, and KYCC staff to celebrate five decades of KYCC\u2019s impact throughout Koreatown. With our Title Sponsor Wells Fargo, this year\u2019s event raised over $720,000 of unrestricted funds to support KYCC\u2019s programs that help children and families across Los Angeles thrive at every stage of life.<\/span><\/p>\n

An unforgettable evening unfolded at one of Los Angeles\u2019s most iconic stages, as Kim Tae Woo, of the legendary K-pop group g.o.d., took the stage alongside Grammy-nominated R&B artist Eric Ben\u00e9t and acclaimed recording artist Trish Toledo. The performances were backed by the 60-piece Korean American Youth Symphony, captivating the audience with a seamless blend of cultural and musical artistry. The concert was co-hosted by esteemed KCAL News anchor, Suzie Suh, and Korean American rapper, actor, and writer Jonnie \u201cDumbfoundead\u201d Park.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This event paid tribute to KYCC\u2019s half-century of dedicated service to Los Angeles\u2019 Koreatown and its neighboring communities, showcasing the organization\u2019s influence in aiding youth, families, and underserved groups through various social services, education, mental health initiatives, and economic development programs. All proceeds went directly towards supporting KYCC\u2019s programs for low-income children and families.<\/span><\/p>\n
