In the evening, she volunteers her time at KYCC\u2019s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site as an income tax preparer.<\/p>\n<p>Jaemin has volunteered since 2011 and has returned every tax season. \u201cThe volunteer program is rewarding,\u201d Jaemin shares, \u201cI can help so many families while developing an important skill, like tax preparation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jaemin also added that \u201cThe Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites have volunteer opportunities that don\u2019t require tax preparation, like greeters, receptionists, or volunteer managers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about the VITA program at KYCC, please contact Audrey Casillas at 213-365-7400.
