\u00a0On April 18, KYCC hosted its 11th Annual Fore Children and Families Golf Classic at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club<\/a> in Irvine, CA. By the end of the event, KYCC raised over $100,000 to support our programs and services in education, housing, finances and health.<\/p>\n

The Thursday was sunny and breezy\u2013perfect conditions for golfing and charity. Players competed in 36 teams of four in an exciting, 18-hole golf tournament that lasted all day. Upon check-in, participants were given gift bags, lunch boxes, and entered into a raffle to win prizes, such as a cordless Dyson vacuum and a 65″ LG TV provided by generous donors.<\/p>\n

After an afternoon of golf, staff and tournament guests retired to the enjoy a\u00a0dinner and a raffle\u00a0at Strawberry Farms\u2019 Big Red Barn.\u00a0<\/p>\n
