The new policy prohibited all tobacco- and smoking-related products on the OCC campus, including the parking lots and student housing. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"_5RYuEA direction-ltr align-start para-style-subtitle\"><span class=\"SS_gjA\">In 2018, OCC created its Smoke <\/span><span class=\"SS_gjA\">and Tobacco-Free Task Force in response to receiving a letter grade \u00abF\u00bb on the CYAN Smoke- and Tobacco-Free Policy Report Card. In a study conducted by OCC, one-third of students and one-third of the faculty mentioned that they faced immediate health effects from second-hand smoke on campus such as coughing or asthma attacks.
