When you think you have found the right position for you, and you are able to meet all of the requirements, submit your resume to the listed e-mail address or download and complete our Volunteer Intake Form and mail it. We will contact you within a week of your paperwork being submitted!
Please note that all volunteers intending to work with children MUST submit documentation of a negative TB Test and MUST take a Live Scan test (background clearance). TB Tests are administered by your local doctor’s office. Live Scan locations can be found by visiting the link listed below. KYCC will assist you in this process, however, we do not pay or reimburse for the costs associated with obtaining either of these clearances. You may wait until after your interview to obtain a Live Scan.
If you do not see a matching position at this time, feel free to submit your resume and a letter explaining your volunteer area of interest and we will gladly contact you when we think we have found a match.

- SEEK-LA Drop-In Center - Drop-In Center Assistant:
The Drop-In Center serves approximately 500 students per year through our various programs, and is still developing in order to serve a broader student spectrum and diversify it’s offerings. Currently, the Drop-In Center is looking for a volunteer who is willing to work in a variety of capacities with all of the Drop-In Center’s programs.

- The Tree House - General Tutors: General tutors will help students with their homework/schoolwork. Tutors will also help the students improve their study habits.
