Qualifications:
College and high school students may apply to become a tutor for NAP. KYCC will select, train, and place these tutors to form the very first TEAM members.
Descriptions / Objectives:
The Tutor Education And Mentor program (T.E.A.M) is a joint pilot project operated by the Academic Services and the Youth Development units. Its mission is to develop tutors to serve the NAP students.

The Program will begin on September 19 with a training session. If all goes well, this pilot project can turn into a permanent Tutor program that will operate indefinitely.

The college students will make up the A-TEAM and the B-TEAM will consist of high school students. Once accepted into the program to serve as tutors, you must commit 13 weeks. Starting on September 19 and ending on December 19.

The TEAM program strives to develop essential mentorship skills and benefit the tutors as much as the tutors will benefit the NAP students.

A-TEAM Mondays 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

B-TEAM Wednesdays 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
